Tiny Township · 2026
Experience Matters. Results Matter.
Making Tiny Better, not Bitter.
I am offering to serve because the next Council will need experience, independent judgment and a practical understanding of how municipal government works.
Good municipal government begins with the right questions: Is this our responsibility? Is it a priority? What will it cost? What are we not funding if we spend the money here?
Starting from Day OneReady to contribute
Municipal leadership, fire and emergency service, business and construction experience, professional education and long-standing community service.
Prior Councillor and Mayor of Tiny, former Simcoe County Councillor, and experience as senior municipal staff.
Former Fire Chief and community emergency-management experience, with responsibility for people, equipment and essential services.
Owned and operated local construction businesses; interprovincially licensed Red Seal carpenter, award-winning homebuilder and mentor to apprentices entering the trade.
CMM III, Dispute Resolution studies, Adjudication Hearing Officer training, AMCTO education and practical municipal experience.
Focusing on what matters
Maintain what Tiny owns, plan for what it needs and confront the growing infrastructure deficit before adding lower-priority commitments.
Learn more →Start with priorities, end with numbers. Distinguish needs from wants, manage debt carefully and make every major commitment explain how it will be paid for.
Learn more →Respect municipal jurisdiction, property rights, professional staff advice and the legal limits on what a Township council can do.
Learn more →Better access, genuine two-way discussion and clear explanations — with issues resolved at the appropriate level rather than creating meetings for their own sake.

Why experience matters
Accountability, transparency, fiscal responsibility and honesty should be expected of everyone seeking office. They are important principles, but meeting the minimum requirements only gets you through the gate. It is experience that helps a Councillor know which questions have not been answered, recognize the consequences of different choices and understand when a simple political promise will create a difficult financial or legal problem later.
